Stumbled upon a wonderful website starring the best actors in the western world.

All part of a different acting genre, giving their silent but gratifying performances.

Enjoy

My new project is one from France.

Its a Tom-and-Jerry kind of kids shows except that the puns in the dialogue seems to me like almost sexual in nature. U can check out the trailer below. Well its been 4 months and its already by second project! Feels good getting away from animated cars for awhile into that of a bipedal.

Animating in French is also new. French translates better on Google translate than Korean did. Haha. But I hope to be learning much more in this series then vroomies. The director is very experienced and a great problem solver. We will see how this cat and fish chase will bring me. C ya~

Fish and Chips

Hi readers,
New updates. Now I’m breathing the cool air and eating Kimchi from the Soul of Asia , KOREA !! Somehow, I managed to get into a government plan and was sent over to Korea for a year. Now I’m working in SAMG (view using IE)

Working on the series Vroomies

The render and animation is really nice for just a pre-school series. It airs tomorrow morning at 8.30am. EBS channel! Support! support!

Work is fun and so is the city. Everybody seems to be very talented here! Animation Director Peter Chung just sits a few table away making his up and coming film Firebreather.

Being here, might just be the best and most exciting place for an animator to be! Vrooom Vroom c ya! =)

Although, I love things that move, I did started out as a photographer.

I totally couldn’t stand not sharing this post from a friend of mine. Gizmodo recently launched a shooting challenge. And the photos that came out were totally stunning. When I just graduated, I really couldn’t appreciate what the leads were telling me about arcs in the human body. I always had the idea that it was an animation principle, and real life would prove otherwise most of the time.

This is totally awesome for people who still do not understand the importance of arcs.

Gizmodo Challenge

This is one of my old videos. Won an award for it haha. Free laptop and HDV camera. Remembered I was in Hong Kong when I got the call from AVID.  You’ve won! haha superb news when I really needed a laptop.

Anyway this was intended to be a personal project until I saw the ads all over my school. But I don’t think many people know about this competition. Its one of those relatively unknown competitions with very lucrative prizes. But hey, I was competing with people from Southeast Asia, Australia, China and Japan! It was a little milestone for me. Click the link below for the winning announcement.

Hi people,  If you’re interested in helping to preserve the animals for your future generation, I support WWF on the socialvibe widget at the side.  Click on it and follow the steps to help them survive. Thank you!

A short compilation of all the Animation work I’ve done thus far.

Finally set out to publish my own professional blog. Partially because I have things to share and also because I want a place to place all my links to my reel and whatever I am doing.

Why living illusions? I am an animator and creating living illusions is what I do.
